Ik kan het nauwelijks geloven dat u de documentaire "the great global warming swindle" gaat uitzenden. Ik heb hem inmiddels via internet gezien en deze zwendelfilm is werkelijk te erg. Leugens en halve waarheden met als doel het publiek te misleiden. Wetenschappers betaald door exxon die enorme sommen geld toekennen aan lieden die het IPCC-rapport onderuit halen. Verminkte statistieken etc. Ik voeg enkele links toe waarin deze zwendel wordt besproken. Ik hoop dat u deze doorneemt.

Er is veel kritiek geweest uit wetenschappelijke hoek over de voorstelling van de feiten in The Great Global Warming Swindle. Vooral het gebruik van achterhaalde cijfers en onderzoeken voor het ondersteunen van de stellingname van de documentaire is bekritiseerd. In de sommige gevallen worden de conclusies onderuitgehaald door niet gepresenteerde, nieuwere kennis. In ieder geval is er ÈÈn wetenschapper geweest die zijn medewerking aan de film heeft ingetrokken, waarop deze film van internet is verwijderd.

In een open brief^[1] aan de maker van The Great Global Warming Swindle wijzen 40 klimaatwetenschappers zeven belangrijke misvattingen aan:

• De gemiddelde temperatuur van de Aarde is niet zo hoog als tijdens de middeleeuwen.De documentaire verwijst hierbij naar een grafiek uit een rapport van het IPCC uit 1990. Deze grafiek toont slechts temperaturen tot 1975 en is in de afgelopen 17 jaar achterhaald door nieuw onderzoek. De United States National Academies publiceerde in 2006 een rapport waarin staat dat "geen enkele grootschalige temperatuur-reconstructie blijk geeft van middeleeuwse temperaturen die zo hoog waren als de laatste decennia van de 20e eeuw."
• De gemiddelde temperatuur van de Aarde nam sterk af tussen 1940 en 1980.Inde documentaire wordt een grafiek vertoond waarvan NASA als bron wordt gegeven. NASA heeft echter nooit een dergelijk grafiek gepubliceerd met betrekking op de gehele aarde. De temperatuur op het noordelijk halfrond nam af tussen 1940 en 1976, maar niet zo sterk als in het programma wordt gesteld.
• De troposfeer warmt sterker op dan wat verwacht kan worden op basis van de modellen, en is dus niet door mensen veroorzaakt.In een wetenschappelijk review van 2006 stelt het US Climate Change Science Programme dat de temperaturen in de modellen soms boven, soms onder de geobserveerde temperatuur zitten. Er wordt geconcludeerd dat "gegeven de variatie in de resultaten van de modellen en de onderlinge overlap en de overlap met de beschikbare metingen, is er geen conflict tussen de geobserveerde veranderingen en de resultaten van klimaatmodellen."
• Vulkanen produceren meer CO₂ dan mensen.Hiervan wordt geen bron gegeven. Deze uitspraak is onwaar, vulkanische emissies zijn minder dan 2 procent van de menselijke emissies.
• In het verleden volgde een stijging van de concentratie CO₂ een temperatuurstijging, en dus is de huidige stijging van de temperatuur niet het gevolg van de toename van CO₂.Deze conclusie staat lijnrecht tegenover de huidige wetenschappelijke inzichten volgens peer-reviewed journals. Duidelijk is ook dat de huidige toename van CO₂ wel degelijk voorafging aan de huidige temperatuurstijging.
• Oceanen stoten grote hoeveelheden CO₂ uit bij opwarming, en dus zijn menselijke emissies niet verantwoordelijk voor de stijgende temperaturen.Emissie van CO₂ uit de oceaan kan wel een bijdrage leveren aan het versterkte broeikaseffect, maar is niet de hoofdoorzaak. De oorzaak van toename van CO₂ is ondubbelzinnig de mens.
• Variatie in de zonnecyclus kan de stijgende temperatuur verklaren.De in de documentaire gebruikte grafiek loopt slechts tot 1975, is niet afkomstig uit bekend wetenschappelijk werk en een bron wordt niet gegeven. Recent onderzoek wijst uit dat er zeker in de laatste decennia geen goede correlatie is tussen activiteit van de zon en de temperatuur op Aarde.

Ik ben lid van de KRO, maar als het niveau van een reporter-uizending een dergelijk niveau aanneemt, zeg ik mijn lidmaatschap op.

Grote klasse dat u mogelijk deze docu gaat uitzenden, en mogelijke andere docu met dezelfde strekking is Doomsday Called Off ,
een geweldige BBC docu , welk eigenlijk keiharde eco-terror de-bunking is, een plezier om naar te kijken.

Begrijp me goed dat ik het beste voor heb met het milieu, echter deze eco-hype slaat helemaal nergens meer op.
zelf ben ik een fysicus en heb best wel een redelijk idee wat valide argumenten zijn en niet aangaande man made global warming.

Ik zie er naar uit !

Hallo Ton,

Over het algemeen mis ik bij de publieke omroep pluriformiteit. Verheugd ben ik dan ook dat de KRO in het gaval van het klimaat debat een ander geluid laat horen. Zeker omdat de weerstand tegen een ander geluid erg groot is. De film van Al Gore "An inconvenient truth" bevatte onjuistheden, mogelijk geldt dat ook voor "the great global warming swindle".

EÈn van de punten die ik steeds weer hoor is dat de Klimaat lobby niet in de keuken laat kijken. Ze komen met veel rapporten maar geven onvoldoende gelegenheid om de cijfers die aan de rapporten ten grondslag liggen te onderzoeken. In de "the great global warming swindle" wordt ook gesteld dat het tegengeluid geheel uit het IPCC rapport is verdwenen; men is het onderling eens en dan zal het wel zo zijn.

Een voorbeeld van de eenzijdigheid werd destijds bloot gelegd door Bjˆrn Lomborg deskundig in statistiek. Hij toonde aan dat rapporten vooral gebaseerd waren op eenzijdige selectie van gegevens. Hij werd daarna direct uit zijn ambt gezet. Zie voor detail op website http://www.lomborg.com/.

Michael Crichton (http://www.crichton-official.com/) schrijver van o.a. Jurassic Park beijvert zich al tijden voor goede richtlijnen voor wetenschappelijke rapporten waar de toetsing van uitspraken als eis moet gelden. Als je een miljarden bedrijf gaat overnemen wil je eerst de boeken zorgvuldig controleren. Bij het klimaat debat gaat het om veel meer dan miljarden.

Destijds met het uitbannen van DDT was men ook eensgezind maar de derde wereld had het probleem, elk jaar sterven daar 1-2.7 miljoen aan malaria. In 2001 (op de Stockholm Conventie) pleitten Greenpeace, World Wildlife Fund, Physicians for Social Responsibilty en meer dan 300 milieuorganisaties voor een verbod van het middel.
En nu: DDT is ÈÈn van de beste middelen om malaria te bestrijden. Die opvatting heeft de Wereld Gezondheids Organisatie onlangs naar buiten gebracht.

Via YouTube heb ik "the great global warming swindle" bekeken en was onthutst over het enorme verschil tussen de twee gezichtspunten. Ik zie geen reden om de makers van de serie "The great global warming swindle" minder te vertrouwen als de makers van de Al Gore film. Als we niet beide verhalen horen wordt ons de mogelijkheid van oordeel niet geboden.

Glenn Beck bij CNN stelde het ongeveer zo: Lang voordat Columbus Amerika ontdekte waren wetenschappers er van overtuigd dat de aarde rond was en de zon om de aarde draaide, Wetenschappers wisten dat ze de waarheid hadden maar ze wisten ook dat ze in de gevangenis kwamen als ze er mee naar voren kwamen. Het spel is nu nog hetzelfde: je hoort maar ÈÈn kant van het verhaal.

Ik hoop dat een ieder die "An inconvenient truth" heeft gezien ook de tijd neemt voor "The great global warming swindle" en dat de KRO z'n rug recht houdt. Niet dat de KRO tegen moet zijn om tegen te zijn maar wel om te laten zien dat er meerdere stromingen zijn.
Degenen die tegen de stroom in zwemmen hebben het moeilijker dan de miljoenen die met de stroom mee drijven, De sceptici verdienen dan ook op zín minst met respect te worden behandeld.

A Channel 4 documentary that claimed global warming is a swindle was itself flawed with major errors which seriously undermine the programme's credibility, according to an investigation by The Independent.

The Great Global Warming Swindle, was based on graphs that were distorted, mislabelled or just plain wrong. The graphs were nevertheless used to attack the credibility and honesty of climate scientists.

A graph central to the programme's thesis, purporting to show variations in global temperatures over the past century, claimed to show that global warming was not linked with industrial emissions of carbon dioxide. Yet the graph was not what it seemed.

Other graphs used out-of-date information or data that was shown some years ago to be wrong. Yet the programme makers claimed the graphs demonstrated that orthodox climate science was a conspiratorial "lie" 

foisted on the public.

Channel 4 yesterday distanced itself from the programme, referring this newspaper's inquiries to a public relations consultant working on behalf of Wag TV, the production company behind the documentary.

Gaat de KRO zich na uitzending ook distantiÎren van deze film vol leugens en halve waarheden? Ik hoop het, maar het zou nog beter zijn om hem helemaal niet uit te zenden.

LS.   Met belangstelling volg ik alle berichtgeving over co2 uitstoot enz,bv die aktie op de TV as weekend. Als ik dan het progamma zie met bv AB en andere pop amusement denk ik bij mijzelf dat kost aardig wat Killowatjes Gillende gitaren dreunende bassen dwaas gestamp of bv bromfietsen die door de lucht vliegen tracktoren racen op de veluwe scheterend lawaai journaal zinloze Tv progamma`s ga maar door kost allemaal zinloze energie !!! ASmidt.

Dank voor een tegengeluid, dat wordt enorm gemist.

In op blog schrijft u:  ìDie complottheorie gaat wel erg verî. Dit woordgebruik maakt van de tegenstanders paranoide figuren: ze zien er een complot in.

Ik heb de global warming swindle gezien en er wordt helemaal niet beweerd dat er een complot zou zijn. Een complot vooronderstelt een bewuste samenwerking en planning. Dat is hiet niet het geval. Wel is het zo dat de economische en politiek maatschappelijke krachten allemaal in dezelfde richting werken en elkaar versterken. Laat je een tegengeluid horen, dan is dat politieke zelfmoord. Wil je als onderzoeker nog gelden krijgen, dan ga je zoeken op de plek waar het meete geld te halen is (en waar door de hoge druk, de minste controle is).

Je bent een dief van je eigen portmonnaie als je niet meedoet.

Dat is geen complot, maar de in het systeem ingebakken gang van zaken bij dergelijke mondiale hypes.

Geachte mr. Verlind,

Ik lees op uw reporter site dat u The Great Global Warming Swindle bij de KRO gaat vertonen, maar dat u niet de boodschap wilt uitdragen om maar onbeperkt te consumeren.

Het is heel goed dat u dit schrijft. Want hieruit begrijp ik dat u de film die op internet zeer populair is, eigenlijk wilt ontkrachten. Dat is niet iedere kant van het debat laten zien, dat is verhulde propaganda.

Dat gevoel wordt versterkt doordat u meent, dat klimaatsceptici in een complot zouden geloven. Juist, een complot is iets dat bewust is georganiseerd. Echter op ieder gebied waar de mens succes heeft geboekt, slaat op den duur de behoudzucht toe en vindt men zingeving in expansie. Wat u complot noemt, is eigenlijk het gevolg van natuurlijke groei.

Als u de gelegenheid zou scheppen om de klimaattheorie als geheel aan te vallen, dan pas heeft u lef! Het is niet zonder reden dat ikzelf, als vele andere jonge mensen steeds minder televisie kijken.

Ik heb veel vertrouwen in de kennis van mensen als Labohm, Roosendaal en Richel, maar het zijn helaas geen debaters. Het zou jammer zijn als de discussie wordt verloren op grond van discussieve vaardigheid.

Sorry als ik fanatiek overkom, maar er is me veel aan gelegen om de 

KRO ervan te overtuigen dat 'The Great Global Warming Swindle' geen 

waarheidsgetrouwe film is, om het voorzichtig uit te drukken. Hier 

een stuk uit The Guardian, en een brief van een van de wetenschappers 

die in de film te zien is aan de productiemaatschappij die de film 

maakte. Hij is razend, en terecht.

Were it not for dissent, science, like politics, would have stayed in 

the dark ages. All the great heroes of the discipline - Galileo, 

Newton, Darwin, Einstein - took tremendous risks in confronting 

mainstream opinion. Today's crank has often proved to be tomorrow's 

visionary.

But the syllogism does not apply. Being a crank does not 

automatically make you a visionary. There is little prospect, for  

example, that Dr Mantombazana Tshabalala-Msimang, the South African 

health minister who has claimed Aids can be treated with garlic, 

lemon and beetroot, will be hailed as a genius. But the point is 

often confused. Professor David Bellamy, for example, while making 

the incorrect claim that wind farms do not have "any measurable 

effect" on total emissions of carbon dioxide, has compared himself to 

Galileo.

The problem with The Great Global Warming Swindle, which caused a 

sensation when it was broadcast on Channel 4 last week, is that to 

make its case it relies not on future visionaries, but on people 

whose findings have already been proved wrong. The implications could 

not be graver. Just as the government launches its climate change 

bill and Gordon Brown and David Cameron start jostling to establish 

their green credentials, thousands have been misled into believing 

there is no problem to address.

The film's main contention is that the current increase in global 

temperatures is caused not by rising greenhouse gases, but by changes 

in the activity of the sun. It is built around the discovery in 1991 

by the Danish atmospheric physicist Dr Eigil Friis-Christensen that 

recent temperature variations on Earth are in "strikingly good 

agreement" with the length of the cycle of sunspots.

Unfortunately, he found nothing of the kind. A paper published in the 

journal Eos in 2004 reveals that the "agreement" was the result of 

"incorrect handling of the physical data". The real data for recent 

years show the opposite: that the length of the sunspot cycle has 

declined, while temperatures have risen. When this error was exposed, 

Friis-Christensen and his co-author published a new paper, purporting 

to produce similar results. But this too turned out to be an artefact 

of mistakes - in this case in their arithmetic.

So Friis-Christensen and another author developed yet another means 

of demonstrating that the sun is responsible, claiming to have 

discovered a remarkable agreement between cosmic radiation influenced 

by the sun and global cloud cover. This is the mechanism the film 

proposes for global warming. But, yet again, the method was exposed 

as faulty. They had been using satellite data which did not in fact 

measure global cloud cover. A paper in the Journal of Atmospheric and 

Solar-Terrestrial Physics shows that, when the right data are used, a 

correlation is not found.

So the hypothesis changed again. Without acknowledging that his 

previous paper was wrong, Friis-Christensen's co-author, Henrik 

Svensmark, declared there was a correlation - not with total cloud 

cover but with "low cloud cover". This, too, turned out to be 

incorrect. Then, last year, Svensmark published a paper purporting to 

show cosmic rays could form tiny particles in the atmosphere. 

Accompanying the paper was a press release which went way beyond the 

findings reported in the paper, claiming it showed that both past and 

current climate events are the result of cosmic rays.

As Dr Gavin Schmidt of Nasa has shown on www.realclimate.org, five 

missing steps would have to be taken to justify the wild claims in 

the press release. "We've often criticised press releases that we 

felt gave misleading impressions of the underlying work," Schmidt 

says, "but this example is by far the most blatant extrapolation 

beyond reasonableness that we have seen." None of this seems to have 

troubled the programme makers, who report the cosmic ray theory as if 

it trounces all competing explanations.

The film also maintains that manmade global warming is disproved by 

conflicting temperature data. Professor John Christy speaks about the 

discrepancy he discovered between temperatures at the Earth's surface 

and temperatures in the troposphere (or lower atmosphere). But the 

programme fails to mention that in 2005 his data were proved wrong, 

by three papers in Science magazine.

Christy himself admitted last year that he was mistaken. He was one 

of the authors of a paper which states the opposite of what he says 

in the film. "Previously reported discrepancies between the amount of 

warming near the surface and higher in the atmosphere have been used 

to challenge the reliability of climate models and the reality of 

human-induced global warming. Specifically, surface data showed 

substantial global-average warming, while early versions of satellite 

and radiosonde data showed little or no warming above the surface. 

This significant discrepancy no longer exists because errors in the 

satellite and radiosonde data have been identified and corrected."

Until recently, when found to be wrong, scientists went back to their 

labs to start again. Now, emboldened by the denial industry, some of 

them, like the film-makers, shriek "censorship!". This is the best 

example of manufactured victimhood I have come across. If you 

demonstrate someone is wrong, you are now deemed to be silencing him.

But there is one scientist in the film whose work has not been 

debunked: the oceanographer Carl Wunsch. He appears to support the 

idea that increasing carbon dioxide is not responsible for rising 

global temperatures. Wunsch says he was "completely misrepresented" 

by the programme, and "totally misled" by the people who made it.

This is a familiar story to those who have followed the career of the 

director Martin Durkin. In 1998, the Independent Television 

Commission found that, when making a similar series, he had "misled" 

his interviewees about "the content and purpose of the programmes". 

Their views had been "distorted through selective editing". Channel 4 

had to make a prime-time apology.

Cherry-pick your results, choose work which is already discredited, 

and anything and everything becomes true. The twin towers were 

brought down by controlled explosions; MMR injections cause autism; 

homeopathy works; black people are less intelligent than white 

people; species came about through intelligent design. You can find 

lines of evidence which appear to support all these contentions, and, 

in most cases, professors who will speak up in their favour. But this 

does not mean that any of them are correct. You can sustain a belief 

in these propositions only by ignoring the overwhelming body of 

contradictory data. To form a balanced, scientific view, you have to 

consider all the evidence, on both sides of the question.

But for the film's commissioners, all that counts is the sensation. 

Channel 4 has always had a problem with science. No one in its 

science unit appears to understand the difference between a peer-

reviewed paper and a clipping from the Daily Mail. It keeps 

commissioning people whose claims have been discredited - such as 

Durkin. But its failure to understand the scientific process just 

makes the job of whipping up a storm that much easier. The less true 

a programme is, the greater the controversy.

Dear Mr. Green:

I am writing to record what I told you on the telephone yesterday 

about your Channel 4 film "The Global Warming Swindle." 

Fundamentally, I am the one who was swindled---please read the email 

below that was sent to me (and re-sent by you). Based upon this email 

and subsequent telephone conversations, and discussions with the 

Director, Martin Durkin, I thought I was being asked to appear in a 

film that would discuss in a balanced way the complicated elements of 

understanding of climate change---in the best traditions of British 

television. Is there any indication in the email evident to an 

outsider that the product would be so tendentious, so unbalanced?

I was approached, as explained to me on the telephone, because I was 

known to have been unhappy with some of the more excitable climate-

change stories in the British media, most conspicuously the notion 

that the Gulf Stream could disappear, among others. When a journalist 

approaches me suggesting a "critical approach" to a technical 

subject, as the email states, my inference is that we are to discuss 

which elements are contentious, why they are contentious, and what 

the arguments are on all sides. To a scientist, "critical" does not 

mean a hatchet job---it means a thorough-going examination of the 

science. The scientific subjects described in the email, and in the 

previous and subsequent telephone conversations, are complicated, 

worthy of exploration, debate, and an educational effort with the 

public. Hence my willingness to participate. Had the words "polemic", 

or "swindle" appeared in these preliminary discussions, I would have 

instantly declined to be involved.

I spent hours in the interview describing many of the problems of 

understanding the ocean in climate change, and the ways in which some 

of the more dramatic elements get exaggerated in the media relative 

to more realistic, potentially truly catastrophic issues, such as the 

implications of the oncoming sea level rise. As I made clear, both in 

the preliminary discussions, and in the interview itself, I believe 

that global warming is a very serious threat that needs equally 

serious discussion and no one seeing this film could possibly deduce 

that.

What we now have is an out-and-out propaganda piece, in which there 

is not even a gesture toward balance or explanation of why many of 

the extended inferences drawn in the film are not widely accepted by 

the scientific community. There are so many examples, it's hard to 

know where to begin, so I will cite only one: a speaker asserts, as 

is true, that carbon dioxide is only a small fraction of the 

atmospheric mass. The viewer is left to infer that means it couldn't 

really matter. But even a beginning meteorology student could tell 

you that the relative masses of gases are irrelevant to their effects 

on radiative balance. A director not intending to produce pure 

propaganda would have tried to eliminate that piece of disinformation.

An example where my own discussion was grossly distorted by context: 

I am shown explaining that a warming ocean could expel more carbon 

dioxide than it absorbs -- thus exacerbating the greenhouse gas 

buildup in the atmosphere and hence worrisome. It was used in the 

film, through its context, to imply that CO2 is all natural, coming 

from the ocean, and that therefore the human element is irrelevant. 

This use of my remarks, which are literally what I said, comes close 

to fraud.

I have some experience in dealing with TV and print reporters and do 

understand something of the ways in which one can be misquoted, 

quoted out of context, or otherwise misinterpreted. Some of that is 

inevitable in the press of time or space or in discussions of 

complicated issues. Never before, however, have I had an experience 

like this one. My appearance in the "Global Warming Swindle" is 

deeply embarrasing, and my professional reputation has been damaged. 

I was duped---an uncomfortable position in which to be.

At a minimum, I ask that the film should never be seen again publicly 

with my participation included. Channel 4 surely owes an apology to 

its viewers, and perhaps WAGTV owes something to Channel 4. I will be 

taking advice as to whether I should proceed to make some more formal 

protest.

Ik hoop dat u  zich niet laat verleiden door de millieumaffia om deze docu niet uit te zenden.

Een tegengeluid is natuurlijk wel zo democratisch in een land als Nederland (kuch).

Ik kijk met belangstelling uit naar deze docu.

Beste KRO'ers, geachte heer Verlind,

zoals gezegd door velen voor mij, de documentaire die jullie donderdag gaan uitzenden (The Great Global Climate Swindle) is misleidend. In de documentaire wordt wetenschappelijk materiaal bewust gemanipuleerd, een wetenschappelijke doodzonde.

Serieuze wetenschappers hebben op alle fronten gehakt gemaakt van het vertoonde materiaal, inclusief Carl Wunsch, een vooraanstaand wetenschapper die in de documentaire uitgebreid aan het woord komt. 

Ik verzoek jullie dringend een kijkje te nemen op de website van Carl Wunsch en de links daarop:

De links naar Bill Butler en Friis-Christensen geven een overzicht van de manipulaties en de echte bezigheden van de `scientists' die aan de documentaire meedoen.

Door het op prime-time uitzenden van dit materiaal bieden jullie een groots platform aan mensen die het publiek bewust willen misleiden. 

Waarom gebruiken jullie die kostbare zendtijd nou niet om een specialist eens duidelijk te laten uitleggen wat het broeikaseffect eigenlijk is? Dat ligt allemaal een stuk subtieler dan menigeen wil doen geloven.

Is het werkelijk allemaal te doen om controverse? Wat een armoedige insteek. En wat een gemiste kans.

spontaan - hierbij:

ik ben trots op de KRO (en KRO/RKK-· propos , heb jij daar ook iets over te zeggen?) 

1) vanwege het prima programma van Soeterbeeck l.l.  met Joost Zwagerman -  leuke formule -  Wilfried Kemp interviewt aardig - maar ook wel een beetje gladjes / zou van mij wat minder feminien mogen --- 

Gaat over een actuele zaak - die Zwagerman kundig en alert op de agenda heeft weten te krijgen... de verdoctorandisering en ont-arbeiderisering kortom de identiteitscrisis van de PvdA

2) Het uitzenden van het  Earth day swindle program -(of woorden van gelijke strekking) 

meteen door een Volkskrant journalist vanmorgen aangevallen :  Wat mij betreft  prima dat de KRO deze handschoen oppakt /  Het gaat om de feiten -niets dan de feiten ; om de Waarheid -niets dan de Waarheid  Er  is al genoeg Leugen in de Wereld....

ik heb van meet af aan reserve gevoeld bij de gelikte quasi authentieke film van Gore , ' an unconvenient truth '

en zo ook dankzij de KRO

 blijft het thema scherp op de agenda ;  hoop ik -

want het is al komkommertijd aan het worden...

Mijn grote complimenten dat de KRO deze documentaire gaat uitzenden !  Dit doet denken aan kwaliteitsprogramma's als Brandpunt en (eerdere ?) documentaires van Nigel Calder. Ook mijn complimenten voor de samenstelling van het forum.

Het klimaatvraagstuk is complex en allerminst opgelost zoals Gore cs ons doen denken. Met name de rol van de zon -en in het verlengde daarvan liggende effecten als kosmische straling en het aardmagnetisch veld- is nog steeds te onderbelicht en bij veel te veel mensen onbekend. Het blijft onbegrijpelijk dat zelfs het IPCC toegeeft dat ons kennisniveau daarvan "very low" is, dat om de invloed van de zon door het IPCC een zeer grote error-bar is gezet maar dat men desondanks tot de conclusie kan komen dat de huidige opwarming door de mens veroorzaakt is. De documentaire die u vanavond gelukkig uitzendt legt juist op dat soort zwakke -maar collectief miskende- plekken in onze kennis de vinger. Slechts door mensen die menen de onwaarheid in pacht te hebben kan tegen het uitzenden daarvan bezwaar gemaakt worden. Hopelijk blijven we het tijdperk waarin iedereen dacht / moest denken dat de aarde plat is danwel op de brandstapel gezet werd, definitief voorbij.

Ik verheug me op een ouderwets heerlijk avondje kwaliteitstelevisie !
